Job Requirements

  • must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • standing or walking 6 to 8 hours during an 8-hour workday
  • single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling with hands
  • ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach frequently
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • ability to work in 90-degree Fahrenheit temperatures
  • ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of artisan breads and pastries, including cake decorating

Job Duties

  • produces quality breads and pastries
  • produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
  • stocks dry products
  • develops new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity
  • trains production personnel to the highest standards in industry
  • performs production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
