The role available is a Bakery Team Member position focused on the preparation, counter service, and stocking of bakery products. This role is integral to producing quality baked goods that meet the highest industry standards. Responsibilities include making artisan breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, pies, and bars, alongside decorative finishing touches like cake decorating. The ideal candidate will be passionate about baking, possess a positive attitude, and be committed to cleanliness and customer service excellence. Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- standing and walking 6 to 8 hours during an 8-hour work day
- hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- able to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- exposure to temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees (refrigerators), and above 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- may require use of ladders

Job Duties
- Produces quality breads and pastries
- produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
- performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
- stocks dry products
- develops new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity
- trains production personnel to the highest standards in industry
- performs production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
- maintains all production modules in the Datapax system
- arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
- provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques
- maximizes sales potential through proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
- follows and complies with established procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment and equipment
- performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- immediately reports safety hazards and violations
- performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership
