Job Requirements

Regularly work at SUN Site Schools and their communities as needed
Reliable car, driver’s license, and automobile liability insurance
Eligible to be an insured driver under Latino Network’s Commercial Auto Liability
Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and walking
Undergo and pass a criminal background check
Ability to communicate professionally with clients and diverse communities
Follow directions effectively and work independently

Job Qualifications

Minimum of two years relevant experience preferably in non-profit emergency assistance or community outreach
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
Knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel

Job Duties

Understand and adhere to food safety guidelines and partner with the Oregon Food Bank
Place food orders for SUN School Food Pantries
Identify and establish new sources of food donations and accept them
Order and accept food delivery from various places
Organize pantry items: stock shelves, maintain inventory and standards
Recruit, train, and organize volunteer teams for setup and distribution
Ensure compliance with food handling, storage, and distribution standards
