Job Requirements
- Regularly work at SUN Site Schools and their communities as needed
- Reliable car, driver’s license, and automobile liability insurance
- Eligible to be an insured driver under Latino Network’s Commercial Auto Liability
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and walking
- Undergo and pass a criminal background check
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients and diverse communities
- Follow directions effectively and work independently
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of two years relevant experience preferably in non-profit emergency assistance or community outreach
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel
Job Duties
- Understand and adhere to food safety guidelines and partner with the Oregon Food Bank
- Place food orders for SUN School Food Pantries
- Identify and establish new sources of food donations and accept them
- Order and accept food delivery from various places
- Organize pantry items: stock shelves, maintain inventory and standards
- Recruit, train, and organize volunteer teams for setup and distribution
- Ensure compliance with food handling, storage, and distribution standards
