In this role, Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 3 for Springfield City Schools located in Springfield, MA. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leadership professional to oversee multi-site food service operations across the entire school district. The Food Operations Manager 3 will hold direct responsibility for managing 12 managers, playing a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to company and client standards. This role requires a confident and detail-oriented leader who excels at internal auditing, compliance management, and fostering a culture of accountability among management teams.

The Food Operations Manager 3 will be responsible for maintaining consistency and accuracy across all production, safety, and operational standards within the district’s food services. Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum three years of management experience
  • minimum three years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • strong employee engagement leadership skills
  • supervisory experience
  • ability to work collaboratively
  • culinary production experience
  • solid background in safety, sanitation, and compliance
  • professional communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities
