Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a food service supervisory or management role
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks required in kitchen environments
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing kitchen operations or as a food service manager
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to train staff and enforce quality standards
- Experience in cost control and inventory management
- Familiarity with scheduling and labor expense management
Job Duties
- Lead and supervise food preparation and production ensuring adherence to established recipes and standards
- Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with all employment policies while maintaining a spotless restaurant and ensuring guest safety
- Monitor and enhance productivity to guarantee efficient ticket times for food items
- Oversee the performance of Back of House staff conducting evaluations coaching and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary
- Support the growth of key staff members including assistant managers and hourly employees by providing constructive feedback during one on one sessions
- Carry out formal Taste and Temp checks to uphold inventory and food safety standards
- Ensure proper handling maintenance and storage of all kitchen items
