Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a food service supervisory or management role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks required in kitchen environments

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing kitchen operations or as a food service manager
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Duties

  • Lead and supervise food preparation and production ensuring adherence to established recipes and standards
  • Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with all employment policies while maintaining a spotless restaurant and ensuring guest safety
  • Monitor and enhance productivity to guarantee efficient ticket times for food items
  • Oversee the performance of Back of House staff conducting evaluations coaching and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary
  • Support the growth of key staff members including assistant managers and hourly employees by providing constructive feedback during one on one sessions
  • Carry out formal Taste and Temp checks to uphold inventory and food safety standards
  • Ensure proper handling maintenance and storage of all kitchen items
