The Food Lead Worker position at Sodexo, specifically based at Betsy Johnson Hospital, offers a meaningful opportunity to play a vital role in food service operations within a healthcare setting. This full-time role, with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour, requires open availability as shifts may vary. As a Food Lead Worker, you will be more than just an individual contributor; you will serve as a motivating presence and hands-on leader among your team. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving a variety of nutritious and appealing menu items, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, and fostering a safe and welcoming workplace for both employees and customers.

This role is centered around delivering excellent customer service that leaves a positive impact on customers, particularly patients and hospital staff, by ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and satisfying. Reporting under on-site management or supervisors, you will coordinate team activities, oversee daily food operations, and step into supervisory duties as needed. Job Qualifications

  • ability to motivate and lead a team effectively

Job Duties

  • Coordinate activities of workers and/or service employees engaged in food operations or services

  • attend work and show up for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
