Job Description
Due' Cucina Italiana is a vibrant and passionate restaurant specializing in authentic Italian cuisine. Located in Kirkland, Washington, at 12670 120th Ave NE, suite 170, Due' Cucina Italiana is dedicated to serving real, fresh, homemade dishes inspired by the rich traditions of Italy. The restaurant takes pride in creating all its dishes from scratch daily, including fresh pasta extruded in their in-house pasta lab. Their commitment to quality and authenticity makes them a beloved choice among locals and visitors seeking genuine Italian flavors.
The restaurant's team values a family-oriented work environment where customers are treated like family. They emphasize a culture of hard work balanced with enjoyment, honest communication, humility, and mutual support among team members. Due' Cucina Italiana strives to lead by example and create a friendly atmosphere that fosters collaboration and growth.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Expeditor/Cold Line Cook to join our Kirkland team on a full-time basis. This role involves working closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and efficient order preparation and delivery, maintaining excellent quality and presentation standards. The role demands a passionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and shares our dedication to authentic Italian cuisine.
The Food Expeditor/Cold Line Cook will be responsible for assembling orders promptly, ensuring all plates are garnished correctly, monitoring food quality, and maintaining communication with the front-of-house team to meet guests' needs effectively. This position also includes assisting with basic food preparation, packaging, labeling, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, including the walk-in cooler. Compliance with nutrition and sanitation guidelines is essential to uphold the restaurant's high standards.
This position offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $24.50 to $26.50 per hour, which includes a base wage plus tips, reflecting experience and performance. We offer a fun and friendly work environment with full-time benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick time, free meals during shifts, and employee discounts at all Due' Cucina locations. Additionally, there are opportunities for growth within the company for motivated individuals.
Our ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and able to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. We also highly value flexibility and teamwork, with the ability to work evenings and weekends. While conversational English is required, speaking or understanding Spanish is considered a plus but not mandatory. Overall, this role is perfect for someone passionate about food who enjoys working hard and having fun as part of a diverse team in a supportive and dynamic restaurant environment.
