Job Requirements
- at least 19 years old for car and scooter delivery
- at least 18 years old for bike delivery
- provide Social Security Number for background check
- pass background screening
- own or have access to at least a 2-door vehicle for car delivery
- comply with local vehicle requirements
- have a smartphone compatible with the Postmates app
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license for car and scooter delivery
- state-issued ID for all types of delivery
- ability to use smartphone and delivery app
- basic knowledge of local streets and routes
- reliable transportation such as a car, scooter, or bike
- prior delivery or food service experience preferred but not required
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- deliver food and goods to customer locations in a timely manner
- follow all safety and contactless delivery protocols
- manage and navigate using the delivery app efficiently
- maintain communication with support and customers as needed
- collect payment and keep 100% of the tips received
- ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of delivery vehicle or bike
- adhere to local traffic and delivery regulations
