Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license for car or scooter delivery
- State-issued ID for all delivery methods
- Social Security Number for background check
- Be at least 19 years old for car and scooter delivery
- Be at least 18 years old for bike delivery
- Have a 2-door or larger vehicle for car delivery
- Use your own car, scooter, or bike
- Ability to pass a background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Familiarity with local streets and neighborhoods in Pasadena
- Customer service skills
- Ability to use smartphone apps and technology for delivery management
- Ability to drive or bike safely in urban environments
- Good communication skills
- Previous delivery experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Pick up food or other items from local merchants and deliver them to customers
- Use a car, scooter, or bike to complete deliveries
- Follow safety and health protocols including contactless delivery when requested
- Manage your own schedule by deciding when to start and end work
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Use the Postmates and Uber apps to receive delivery requests and track orders
- Handle cashless transactions and ensure the secure transfer of payments
