Job Requirements
- At least 19 years old for car and scooter delivery
- At least 18 years old for bike delivery
- Provide Social Security Number to run a background check
- Have a 2-door vehicle for car delivery
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Access to a car, scooter, or bike permitted by city regulations
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license for car and scooter delivery
- State-issued ID for all delivery modes
- Ability to use a smartphone and app-based technology
- Basic knowledge of the delivery area
- Good communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Prior delivery or food service experience is beneficial but not required
Job Duties
- Deliver food and goods promptly and safely to customers
- Maintain communication with customers and support staff regarding delivery status
- Handle orders with care and ensure accuracy
- Follow safety protocols including contactless delivery procedures
- Use the Postmates/Uber app to manage delivery tasks and navigation
- Manage personal schedule to maximize delivery opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance user experience
