CCRC maintains a modern approach to nonprofit management, providing robust benefits and professional development opportunities to ensure staff members are supported in their growth and success.

The Food Delivery Driver position at CCRC is a vital part-time role within the Early Care & Learning Facilities team, responsible for the safe and timely transportation and delivery of food meals to Early Care & Learning (ECL) centers located in the San Fernando Valley and Antelope Valleys, where children are present. Key responsibilities include loading and unloading insulated food containers, completing detailed delivery and vehicle inspection paperwork, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and operational readiness, and following all safety regulations including Department of Transportation (DOT) standards. Additionally, the role encompasses a food quality assurance component, ensuring that hot and cold food items are kept in compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety standards. The driver assists with product inspections upon receipt and participates in sanitation and cleaning duties to maintain equipment and workspaces.

Candidates for this position are expected to have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least six months of food handling or delivery experience, and three years of licensed driving experience with local geographic familiarity. Food Handler certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire, and basic computer skills are necessary for accessing work communication tools. The role also requires background and health clearances to comply with various child and community care regulations. Preferred candidates will possess bilingual abilities in English and Spanish, enhancing communication within the diverse communities served by CCRC.

CCRC employees benefit from competitive compensation starting at an hourly rate of $21.00, comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision, paid life insurance and long-term disability, robust retirement savings plans with employer contributions and matches, generous paid time off policies including vacation, sick leave, holidays, and paid winter break, as well as learning and professional development opportunities. Working at CCRC is not only about performing a job but contributing to a mission that impacts tens of thousands of families and children across a vast geographic area.
