CCRC prides itself on being an employer of choice with a passion-driven team that is committed to fostering community support and development.
The Food Delivery Driver position at CCRC is a vital, part-time role operating under the general supervision of the Early Care & Learning Facilities Supervisor. This role requires the distribution of food to multiple Early Care and Learning (ECL) centers throughout the San Fernando Valley and Antelope Valleys, with a focus on ensuring that meals are delivered safely and punctually to locations where children are present. The position involves 25 hours per week in an onsite environment with substantial travel responsibilities, demanding both reliability and adherence to safety protocols. The Food Delivery Driver will be expected to efficiently load, transport, and unload food containers while maintaining an impeccable level of quality assurance. This includes following strict health and safety regulations concerning the handling and delivery of food, completing delivery documentation accurately, and conducting daily vehicle inspections to ensure the operational integrity of assigned vehicles.
Additionally, the driver plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation for both vehicles and food transport equipment, working closely with the team to uphold rigorous standards. This position demands familiarity with the San Fernando and Antelope Valley areas, a valid California driver’s license, and adherence to Department of Transportation and company driving regulations. The role is critical in supporting CCRC’s mission to provide nutritious meals to children in a timely and safe manner, even under challenging weather conditions.
CCRC offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $21.00 and a comprehensive benefits package that supports employee well-being and professional growth. Candidates will find a rewarding environment committed to their development through opportunities for education reimbursement, wellness programs, and a generous time off policy. CCRC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer that values diversity and inclusion, ensuring fair consideration regardless of race, gender, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
