Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must be 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol
- physical ability to stand, sit, lift up to 50 pounds, push carts, and perform keyboarding and telephone tasks
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- comply with all safety and sanitation standards
- obtain leader endorsement if applying as an internal transfer, promotion, or rehire candidate
- approval from HRBP required for rehires
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- ability to stand for extended periods
- friendly and customer-focused attitude
- basic knowledge of store safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- operating a register and accurately handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change
- assisting all customers by providing information and resolving any complaints
- assisting with stocking shelves, facing, cleaning and dusting as needed
- maintaining safety and sanitation standards throughout the store
- bagging groceries
- collecting carts and cleaning
- performing all other related duties as assigned
