The Eliza Jane is a distinguished restaurant located in the heart of New Orleans, a city renowned for its rich history, vibrant culture, and distinctive culinary heritage. This establishment offers guests an unparalleled dining experience that blends the charm of a bygone era with modern style and luxury. Situated at the intersection of New Orleans' cultural and industrial sectors, The Eliza Jane reflects the unique diversity and resilient spirit of the city itself. The restaurant serves as a hub where locals and visitors alike can savor exquisite cuisine while immersing themselves in an ambiance that pays homage to centuries-old traditions.
The leadership role at The Eliza Jane is pivotal in maintaining and elevating the restaurant's esteemed reputation. This position requires an individual who can inspire and motivate staff, foster teamwork, and drive the restaurant towards achieving its collective goals. The successful candidate will oversee the entire front-of-house operations, ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service from the moment they enter until their departure. Responsibilities include selecting, developing, and coaching team members to deliver outstanding hospitality, managing the operational budget with financial acuity, and overseeing the inventory and ordering of food and supplies. This leadership role also encompasses driving revenue growth and guaranteeing guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
Beyond daily operational management, the Restaurant Manager plays a critical part in planning, coordinating, and managing special events such as activations and banquets in collaboration with key stakeholders. This demands meticulous organization skills, an ability to handle diverse customer and staff personalities, and strong leadership qualities tempered with patience and diligence. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in restaurant management, including overseeing large-scale events, and possess the ability to maintain composure during high-pressure periods.
As a proud member of the Makeready collection, The Eliza Jane offers a range of generous benefits and perks designed to support the health and well-being of its team members. These include accommodating paid time off policies, medical, dental, and vision insurance, parental leave, pet insurance, company-matched dependent care and 401(k) plans, a student loan repayment program, and numerous other ancillary benefits. At The Eliza Jane, the health, happiness, and overall well-being of every team member are top priorities, reflecting the company’s commitment to cultivating a positive and inclusive workplace.

The company is dedicated to fostering an environment free from discrimination, where success is driven by talent, experience, and performance alone. Joining The Eliza Jane means becoming part of a vibrant community that values respect, collaboration, and excellence in all facets of the restaurant industry.
