As a Food Attendant at Aramark, you will play a crucial role in supporting the food service operation with various essential tasks. Working closely with the manager, your responsibilities will include assisting with food and meal preparation, tracking cash receipts, and maintaining accurate meal records. Your role contributes directly to the successful delivery of quality food services and helps ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will also aid in generating daily reports related to meal production and adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for cooking and baking food and pastries in line with planned menus, storing food correctly to preserve freshness, and providing excellent food service to customers while maintaining all departmental procedures. The Food Attendant must have keen attention to detail, especially when verifying meal components, and should be able to use and maintain culinary implements safely and efficiently.
This position requires punctuality in food preparation, temperature control for food safety, and daily coordination with the manager to interpret the menu accurately. Additionally, the role demands maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the work area, including cleaning refrigerators, freezers, cooking and serving tools, sweeping, mopping, and washing wares. The Food Attendant will also be expected to implement effective sanitation methods and wear the prescribed uniform and personal protective equipment as per company policy.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food preparation or service preferred
- physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
- ability to use culinary implements safely
- strong attention to detail
