The Food Attendant position at Aramark plays a vital role in supporting kitchen operations and delivering exceptional food service. This role involves closely working with the manager to assist with food and meal preparation, tracking cash receipts, and maintaining accurate meal records. The Food Attendant is responsible for a variety of duties including preparing and cooking food and pastries according to scheduled menus, ensuring food safety and sanitation guidelines are strictly followed, and supporting daily report generation. Key responsibilities include the effective use and maintenance of culinary implements such as knives, timely preparation of a wide range of food and beverages, and enhancing customer satisfaction through decorative garnishing.
This role requires the Food Attendant to be highly organized in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, including refrigerators, freezers, cooking and serving tools, and work areas. The Food Attendant must adhere to established uniform standards and consistently manage food temperature control to meet safety regulations. The position demands strong attention to detail to ensure that meal components are complete, stored correctly, and served according to departmental procedures. Physical stamina is essential as the role involves lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods. Wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following dress code policies are mandatory.

Job Requirements
- Completion of high school or equivalent preferred
- valid food service certification
- ability to lift, bend, push, pull and stand or walk continuously during shifts
- adherence to dress code and use of personal protective equipment
- capability to work efficiently under pressure
- basic food handling knowledge
- willingness to follow sanitation and safety policies
- flexibility to perform various kitchen support duties
Job Qualifications
- Food service certification
- adequate education or training to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
