Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift, bend, push, pull, stand and walk for extended periods
  • compliance with dress code and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • prior experience in food preparation or food service preferred
  • willingness to perform various kitchen duties
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Food service certification
  • adequate education or training to understand, compose, and follow verbal and written instructions
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure

Job Duties

  • Cook and bake excellent food and pastries in accordance with a planned menu
  • prepare a report to validate daily transactions and confirm meal preparations
  • be aware of meal components and double-check for completeness
  • store food precisely and cleanly to maintain freshness and integrity
  • offer food service to customers following meal schedules and procedures
  • effectively use and upkeep culinary implements, especially knives
  • ensure timely preparation of a diverse selection of food and beverages
  • add decorative garnishes to improve customer satisfaction and dish presentation
  • assist in tidying refrigerators, freezers, and cooking and serving tools
  • adhere strictly to food safety regulations including cleanliness, proper handling, and storage
  • comply with prescribed uniform standards
  • coordinate daily with manager to interpret and prepare the daily menu accurately
  • regulate food temperature to ensure safety protocols
  • maintain a neat and well-managed workspace
  • implement proper sanitation methods for work areas and equipment
  • perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and washing wares
  • keep garbage collection locations and kitchen floors tidy and sanitary
  • execute additional kitchen-related duties as assigned
