The position being offered is for a Food Assembler, a temporary or contract role primarily based on short-term projects lasting approximately three to four weeks. This role is critical in the airline catering supply chain because it requires assembling food items and preparing upright service carts loaded with meals, beverages, snacks, and necessary supplies. The assembler will also prepare, load, and organize airline catering equipment for departing flights. This position demands high attention to detail, precision in following portioning and labeling standards, and the ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation as per food safety guidelines.

The Food Assembler will be part of a team that supports efficient flight catering operations by ensuring that each meal and equipment pack is correctly prepared and meets airline specifications. The role is available on two potential shifts: the first shift is approximately four weeks in duration, and the second shift is about three weeks, from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, with the possibility of transitioning to temporary-to-hire status (TTH). The hourly rate is competitive, set at $18.00 per hour, reflecting the temporary nature and specialized requirements of the role.

Success in this position requires the ability to stand for long durations, work in a fast-paced and structured environment, and demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and teamwork skills. Prior experience in food service or airline catering is advantageous but not mandatory.
