Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Ability to work in a high-volume customer facing environment
- Knowledge of merchandising and selling concepts
- Food Handler Certification or Card required within 30 days
- Must have open availability Monday through Sunday
- Ability to work 20-34 hours per week
- Ability to adhere to food handling, safety, and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years related experience
- Experience in a high-volume customer facing environment preferred
- Experience in a high-volume retail environment with knowledge of merchandising and selling preferred
- Food Handler Certification or Food Handler Card required within 30 days of employment
Job Duties
- Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to the IKEA Food concept
- Adhere to food handling, health, and sustainability standards
- Respond to customer inquiries and process sales transactions accurately
- Maintain equipment operation through adherence to guidelines and preventive maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishes, utensils, dining and play areas
- Manage the Swedish Food Market including merchandising, pricing, stock rotation, and sanitization
- Ensure accurate price communication across platforms
- Maintain supply rotation and stock in all IKEA Food solutions
- Implement policies for goods receiving and inventory
- Adhere to food safety, workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
- Foster an inclusive work environment that embraces diversity
