Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food preparation or related field
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work 8 am to 5 pm shift
- capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting 25-30 pounds
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- willingness to work on site for the entire duration of the assignment

Job Duties
- assist in all activities pertaining to training events such as Tyson University and customer meetings
- perform basic food preparations including washing, peeling, cutting fruit and vegetables, seasoning and slicing meats, preparing sauces and salads
- ensure product presentation for cutting/product presentations or meals
- set up and clean training and dining areas per manager instructions
- ensure all tableware and chafing dishes are cleaned and sanitized before and after each event
- take inventory of ingredients, supplies, and equipment
- shop for additional needs
- load and unload food, tableware, equipment, and supplies before and after each event
- properly store clean chafing dishes, tableware, platters, supplies, and equipment after events
- answer food related questions during training and meetings and address concerns
- receive and inventory product samples and label cases properly
- pull and prepare equipment and supply needs prior to training dates
- set training rooms including tables, chairs, place cards, folders, notepads, and pens
- set sampling rooms with banquet tables, chafers, and heat lamps
- prepare beverages and snacks for training days
- clean and reset training rooms and kitchens after training
- donate or dispose of leftover food and products
- support Training Team and Foodservice Chefs for customer meetings, food shows, and photo shoots
- ship products and materials as ordered
- maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
- perform miscellaneous computer work related to inventory and materials management
