Job Requirements

  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • able to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol
  • reliable and regular attendance
  • able to work in a hospitality environment
  • ability to operate point-of-sale systems
  • good communication skills
  • ability to maintain a professional appearance
  • capable of multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • maintain a professional appearance
  • drive the beverage cart to different areas on the golf course to service guests
  • maintain a supply of all bar products and supplies including glassware and expendable paper
  • stock beverage carts to par levels each day of use
  • assure compliance with all laws applicable to beverage operations
  • operate Jonas and handle guest and member charges according to procedure
  • learn the names of regulars and recognize them personally
  • monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to ensure excellent customer service
  • inspect the bar before opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory
  • prepare garnishes, mix and pre-mix drinks
  • perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned
  • communicate effectively with peers and management
  • ensure timely, friendly, and professional greetings to all customers
  • assist in food preparation and tend bar as needed
  • demonstrate responsible cash-handling skills
  • prepare, cook, and serve food menu options
  • understand safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • maintain a clean kitchen environment including cleaning of fryer and flattop
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
