Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Age 18 or older
- Previous retail and/or food experience preferred
- Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business
- Ability to lead and hold others accountable
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Effective communication skills
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports and information
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders as needed
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Reliable and prompt and regular attendance necessary
- Ability to work in an environment that could range from 34F to -10F as needed
- Ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be handled or present
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including Drive-Up and carryout
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Ability to safely work independently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Ability to lead, hold others accountable and communicate effectively
- Previous retail and/or food experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks and remain focused in a fast-paced environment
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Capability of operating handheld scanners and technology equipment as directed
- Ability to interpret instructions, reports and information
- Ability to accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Understand and uphold all food safety and compliance regulations
- Ability to safely handle and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Understand sales goals, plan and execute daily and weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement, including merchandising, pricing, changes to salesfloor merchandise displays, sampling and promotions
- Assess backroom and sales floor areas by walking the Target Food & Beverage Standards and prioritize workload for the team
- Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable
- Maintain a fresh, full and food safe area during operating hours leveraging inventory management and food safety policies
- Validate and follow-up on team members' progress against prioritized workload tasks, routines, and best practices
- Work a schedule that aligns with guest and business needs including early morning, evening, overnight and weekend shifts
- Develop and maintain partnerships with vendors and manage store-initiated orders
- Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, evaluating and retaining talent
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and all food safety and brand standards
- Foster teamwork, inclusivity, guest engagement and a culture of safety and ethical conduct
- Address store emergency and compliance needs and execute additional duties based on business needs
