Job Duties

  • Understand sales goals, plan and execute daily and weekly workload to deliver department and store sales goals and guest engagement including merchandising, pricing, changes to sales floor merchandise displays, sampling and promotions
  • Assess backroom and sales floor areas daily by walking the Target Food & Beverage Standards, prioritize workload tasks, review reporting to identify business trends for follow-up
  • Establish clear goals and expectations at the guidance of your leader and hold team members accountable
  • Maintain fresh, full and food safe area during all operating hours using inventory management and food safety policies
  • Deliver Food & Beverage Standards and validate team members' progress against prioritized workload tasks and best practices
  • Work a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs including early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts and weekends
  • Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic, ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with vendors to ensure brand standards and product availability
  • Foster a productive relationship with Starbucks district manager and attend in-store planning meetings when applicable
  • Place store-initiated orders with vendors according to best practices to ensure product availability
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant trends and products to educate team members
  • Support the hiring and onboarding process of new team members
  • Become a subject matter expert in adult beverage laws for business compliance and liquor license protection
  • Lead team to uphold Starbucks and Pizza Hut Brand Standards and complete certification requirements
  • Fulfill key carrying responsibilities and follow safe and secure training processes
  • Support guest services as back-up cashier, order pick up and drive-up while maintaining compliance
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance and hold others accountable
  • Lead and model a safety culture through behavior recognition, hazard correction, and incident response
  • Model execution of physical security processes to enhance in-store security
  • Support merchandise protection strategies across the store
  • Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and creating equitable experiences
  • Lead culture of executing best practices, coaching, and development
  • Address store emergency and compliance needs
  • Model a welcoming experience by greeting guests and engaging in problem solving
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.
