Job Requirements
- accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- climb up and down ladders
- scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
- flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to work in an environment ranging from 34°F to -10°F
- ability to work in spaces with common allergens
- capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements
- ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age or older
- previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
- ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- work independently and with a team
- resolve guest questions quickly
- attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- capable to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- deliver an exceptional guest experience
- uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards
- execute Food & Beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing and storing reserve product
- follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures
- use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales
- work with vendors to set, maintain and make planned changes to salesfloor merchandise displays and organize backroom space
- locate and identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures
