South Coast Winery Resort & Spa, one of Carter Hospitality Group’s flagship properties, is currently seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of service that the resort is known for within its fine dining, room service, and other resort-style food and beverage outlets. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will play a critical role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that the establishment achieves budgeted sales targets in food and beverage while controlling labor costs to maximize profitability. The Food & Beverage Supervisor must demonstrate excellent customer relations skills, responding swiftly and with professionalism to guest requests and ensuring that events and dining experiences run smoothly and according to plan.
Additionally, this role involves detailed coordination with banquet, conference planning, and kitchen teams, guaranteeing guest satisfaction with personalized service. Supervising and training staff within the department upholds the company’s commitment to standard operating procedures and quality control. A focus on maintaining hygiene, grooming standards, and adherence to safety protocols reinforces the resort’s reputation for excellence. The Food & Beverage Supervisor also contributes to minimizing waste and improving profitability by monitoring function execution and portion controls.
Carter Hospitality Group encourages a culture of continuous training and development, offering avenues for career advancement within its portfolio of properties. The company fosters equality and inclusivity as an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and champions a supportive workplace where employees can grow alongside the business. This supervisory role is perfect for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, guest-focused environments and who are passionate about delivering superior hospitality experiences.
