Job Requirements
- associate’s degree in hospitality management food service business or related field
- minimum of two years of restaurant customer service or related experience
- must obtain and maintain responsible beverage service certification
- must obtain and maintain servsafe certification
- may be required to obtain gaming license as per tribal gaming commission
- no driving responsibilities required
- able to work evening weekend and holiday shifts
- able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
- capable of sedentary work involving sitting and operating office equipment
- maintain neat clean and well-groomed appearance
- able to work in climate-controlled casino and resort environment
- able to attend meetings trade shows and conferences
- able to work in fast-paced high demand environment
- able to perform physical activities including balancing stooping kneeling crouching reaching pushing pulling lifting grasping talking hearing and repetitive motions
Job Qualifications
- associate’s degree in hospitality management food service business or related field
- minimum of two years of restaurant customer service or related experience
- related relevant or direct experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements
- proficient in microsoft office including outlook excel and word
- strong leadership and people management skills with ability to collaborate and motivate others
- ability to delegate multi-task lead and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- strong organizational and time management skills
- maintain confidentiality and comply with legal and regulatory requirements
- able to read write and communicate in english
- able to perform basic mathematical operations
- provide friendly efficient service and resolve issues effectively
- clear and effective communication skills
- able to work under pressure and remain calm during busy periods
Job Duties
- assist with day-to-day operation of the food and beverage venues ensuring best-in-class service
- prioritize training and understanding of all line-level positions to maintain and elevate brand standards
- collaborate with venue leadership to develop and execute department initiatives that build sales profitability and cost control
- ensure communication and execution of department-wide fiscal and operational goals
- meet and maintain all safety and health requirements according to applicable codes and track completion of department-wide training
- determine materials equipment and facilities needed for efficient operations and ensure cleanliness organization and preparedness of workspace and adjacent areas
- perform other duties as assigned to support efficient operation of the department
- carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing hiring and training employees planning assigning reviewing and directing work evaluating and appraising performance rewarding and disciplining employees addressing complaints and resolving problems
- make hiring decisions and design individual development plans with succession planning in mind for key roles
