Job Description

Founded in 2015, OVG has quickly established itself as a dominant force in the live entertainment industry by managing a diverse portfolio of seven world-class venues and servicing a broad client roster that includes iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. Their innovative approach and commitment to excellence position them as pioneers in delivering memorable and seamless live entertainment experiences worldwide.

Joining Oak View Group as a Food & Beverage Supervisor means becoming part of a dynamic team in a company that values high standards, operational precision, and exceptional customer service. This role focuses on the effective management and smooth execution of banquet and concessions operations within OVG's array of venues. The Food & Beverage Supervisor is entrusted with providing strong leadership to serving staff, coordinating with various departments to ensure flawless event execution, and maintaining exemplary service quality.

This role is essential in setting up, running, and breaking down events, while giving operational and personnel support focused on maintaining elevated service standards aligned to the events’ unique requirements. The supervisor is responsible not just for directing banquet servers, concession staff, and bartenders, but also for ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service laws and regulations. By overseeing these elements, the supervisor plays a vital role in achieving efficient, profitable, and guest-satisfactory event executions. This is a part-time position offering an hourly rate between $28.00 and $30.00 and includes company benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan with matching.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fast-paced, high-volume catering or restaurant environments and at least one year in a supervisory or lead role within food and beverage services. Candidates should be adaptable, able to communicate effectively, and skilled in managing a team in an event-driven environment with varying work shifts. The role requires hands-on leadership including opening and closing event procedures, managing warehouse activities related to inventory, executing pre-event planning meetings with staff, and handling any client concerns promptly with a problem-solving approach.

Oak View Group's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion drives the company culture, fostering innovation and excellence through a workforce that reflects the communities it serves. OVG is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to providing equal employment opportunities regardless of race, religion, sex, veteran status, or other protected classes. This commitment ensures a workplace environment where every voice is valued, and all employees have the opportunity to grow and contribute meaningfully to the live entertainment landscape.
