Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years experience as a server
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems
- Ability to manage staff and coordinate scheduling
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to guest and employee safety
Job Qualifications
- At least two years previous experience as a server
- Experience in upscale dining
- Prior leadership experience preferred
- Hotel and/or luxury hotel experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality preferred
- Prior experience with Agilysys is a plus
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are a plus
- Food Handler Certification preferred
- TIPS Certification
- ServSafe Certification preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Job Duties
- Plan, supervise, and participate in performance evaluations for subordinate staff
- Ensure service quality, expense control, and revenue generation are maintained at targeted levels
- Supervise areas for cleanliness, proper set-up, opening and closing procedures, and supply levels
- Monitor food quality and presentation
- Participate in updating and facilitating training programs for restaurant associates
- Participate in the hiring process for restaurant associates
- Develop weekly work schedules for the department
- Ensure proper health and safety procedures within the food and beverage outlets
- Manage supplies based on business level forecasts
- Produce maintenance work orders and purchase orders or requisitions as necessary
- Perform related duties to proactively manage various dining operations
- Demonstrate commitment to reducing risks of injury to guests and associates and respond appropriately in emergencies
