The role of Food and Beverage Supervisor at Hôt el Swexan is a critical leadership position within the hotel’s Food and Beverage department. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Outlets, the supervisor will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence across all food and beverage venues within the hotel. This position demands a highly organized individual with a comprehensive understanding of all venues, products, and services to assist management in the seamless execution of daily operations. The supervisor will oversee scheduling, system maintenance, staff coordination, and the implementation of training materials to ensure consistent quality service delivery. Additionally, this role involves active engagement with guests and team members to foster an environment of exceptional hospitality. The supervisor’s responsibilities also include analyzing operational reports, identifying trends to improve efficiency, and ensuring that guest requests and needs are met promptly with the utmost professionalism. Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in restaurant industry
  • strong knowledge of food and beverage
  • impeccable and flexible guest communication skills
  • ability to multitask and function independently and in a team atmosphere
  • a high school diploma or equivalent
  • positive and progressive thinking, problem solving and promoting
  • speak with others using clear and professional language
  • ability to handle operational demands with a high degree of professionalism, operating often with time sensitive deadlines
  • proficient computer skills and knowledge
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • knowledge of MICROS preferred
  • TABC and Food Handlers Certifications required

Job Duties

  • assist management team with the organization of daily operations
  • assist with maintaining accurate system office systems and records
  • participate in staff meetings as required
  • work with management team to ensure proper scheduling of team members
  • assist with system management and administration
  • support various outlets with the planning and implementation of new training materials
  • respond to written or phone inquiries and determine proper routing for action
  • meet and exceed guest expectations by ensuring the team provides positive and courteous service and teamwork
  • ensure that all special requests are handled in an efficient and timely manner
  • be visible, hands on, and ensure a strong personal presence in front of house mainly during peak hours and back of house areas
  • take an active part in guest service duties such as welcoming guests, escorting guests to tables, taking guest orders, clearing tables
  • perform other duties as assigned
