We are currently seeking a Part-Time Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. This position plays a critical role in supporting the daily dining and event operations, ensuring that every service interaction exceeds the high standards expected in a private club setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain a positive and professional atmosphere in the dining areas. As a supervisor, you will oversee front-of-house operations during your assigned shifts, including managing servers, bartenders, and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

In this role, you will take charge of opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation, while monitoring the cleanliness and organization of all food and beverage areas. You will resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, fostering a welcoming environment that anticipates the needs and preferences of club members. Your leadership will extend to coaching staff on the floor, assisting with training and onboarding new team members, and supporting the Food & Beverage Director in scheduling and staffing matters.

This position is part-time with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special club events. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand walk and carry items for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25-40 lbs as needed
  • Flexible availability including nights weekends holidays and club events
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage supervisory or lead role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant or club dining operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced service-focused environment
  • Must be detail-oriented organized and able to multitask
  • TABC certification or ability to obtain

Job Duties

  • Oversee front-of-house operations during assigned shifts including dining room bar and event service
  • Ensure all members and guests receive prompt professional and personalized service
  • Monitor service flow and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures including cash handling and reconciliation
  • Maintain cleanliness organization and appearance of all food and beverage areas
  • Supervise support and direct service staff including servers bartenders and support staff
  • Provide on-the-floor coaching to ensure service standards are consistently met
  • Assist with staff training and onboarding of new team members
  • Foster a positive team-oriented work environment
  • Build relationships with club members and anticipate their needs and preferences
  • Maintain a high level of visibility in dining areas to engage with members and ensure satisfaction
  • Uphold the club’s service culture and standards at all times
  • Assist with scheduling shift coverage and communication with team members
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and alcohol service regulations
