Job Description

Hearthwood Senior Living is a welcoming community dedicated to providing compassionate care and exceptional service to its senior residents. Known for its family-like culture, Hearthwood offers an enriching environment where the life stories of the wisest people are celebrated and treasured. The community fosters a warm and inviting home atmosphere, making it a preferred place for seniors to live comfortably and engage socially. Hearthwood is currently embarking on an exciting $14 million campus renovation, which includes the addition of a bistro and a beautiful refresh of the main dining room, enhancing the overall experience for residents and staff alike.

The role of Dining Room Supervisor at Hearthwood Senior Living is a pivotal position that combines leadership, operational management, and hands-on customer service within the dining area. This position involves leading a team of waitstaff to ensure that every resident is greeted warmly and served with professionalism and courtesy. The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for scheduling staff to maintain adequate coverage for all meal services while working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager, Director of Dining, and Executive Chef to address any food, service, or staffing issues promptly. This role demands a balance between management duties and active participation in daily dining operations, including seating residents and assisting with serving when necessary. The position is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, senior engagement, and creating a memorable dining experience for an elderly community. The Dining Room Supervisor will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of Hearthwood’s food and service quality, contributing directly to the comfort and enjoyment of the residents. This role offers an excellent opportunity for hospitality professionals who want to make a meaningful difference in senior care through exemplary dining service and team leadership.
