Job Description
Desert Diamond Casino is a prominent entertainment and hospitality establishment located in Arizona, renowned for providing exceptional gaming and dining experiences to its guests. As a leader in the gaming industry, Desert Diamond Casino combines dynamic gaming options with diverse food and beverage services, delivering high-quality customer-centric operations. The casino prides itself on a vibrant environment, professional service, and maintaining the highest standards of entertainment and hospitality. This position is situated within one of the casino’s key operational areas – the Food and Beverage department, where the synergy between service excellence and compliance is critical to enhancing guest satisfaction and operational success.
The role of Food and Beverage Supervisor at Desert Diamond Casino is an essential leadership position focused on maintaining professional and efficient operations within the food and beverage division. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Assistant Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for delivering outstanding guest service and ensuring all activities adhere to compliance standards, including Title 4 of Arizona liquor law and internal controls established by the Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise (TOGE). This role requires collaboration with culinary staff, management, and other departments to guarantee guests receive timely, courteous, and high-quality service.
The Food and Beverage Supervisor will enforce rigorous health and food safety standards across all operational facets, ensuring the work environment is clean, organized, and up to code with tribal, city, state, and federal regulations. This role entails a hands-on approach to leadership, including training team members effectively, managing schedules and par levels for inventory, and handling procurement processes with precision. The supervisor must maintain a positive, motivational attitude, exemplary integrity, and lead by example while managing labor costs and performance evaluations. Maintaining accurate attendance and time records, promoting teamwork, and problem-solving are vital daily functions of the role.
Flexibility is also critical, as the Food and Beverage Supervisor must be prepared to adjust duties as necessary in response to changing operational needs. The position fosters an environment where team cohesion and lateral service drive guest satisfaction, aligned with the casino’s Spirit of Service Standards. The role demands an individual who can lead with confidence, uphold safety and regulatory compliance, and communicate effectively with diverse personnel and guests.
Employment with Desert Diamond Casino offers engagement in a dynamic hospitality setting with the opportunity to grow within a supportive team culture. While the job requires working irregular hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends, it provides a platform to develop supervisory skills in a reputable and culturally significant enterprise. Candidates should anticipate a competitive compensation package aligned with experience, with the chance to make meaningful contributions to both the guest experience and organizational excellence in one of Arizona’s premier gaming and entertainment venues.
