The Food and Beverage Supervisor role at ATG’s San Antonio, Texas venue offers an exciting opportunity to be part of this vibrant live entertainment setting. This part-time position requires availability on weekends, holidays, evenings, days, and late nights, reflecting the varied schedule typical of live event venues. The compensation is $18 per hour, competitive for part-time supervisory roles within the hospitality sector.

Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Manager, the supervisor will play a critical role in overseeing food and beverage operations during live performances and events throughout the venue’s three venues with a combined capacity of over 6,000 guests. This role demands vigilance and leadership to ensure service areas and staff perform at high standards consistently. The supervisor is responsible for coordinating shifts, ensuring all staff are in the correct uniforms, and that all service and stocking areas are well maintained with thorough adherence to cleaning and stocking checklists. The role requires maintaining operational excellence, including managing ice machines, ensuring cleanliness, and overseeing upgrade experiences such as ambassador lounges and suite services.

The ideal candidate must have at least one year of theatre or food and beverage experience and have completed TABC and Texas Food Handlers certifications. The job is physically demanding, requiring extended periods of standing and walking, as well as the ability to lift and carry heavy items exceeding 50 pounds. Strong people skills are essential, as the supervisor will regularly interact with guests and other departments, requiring excellent communication and leadership abilities. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Report to the food and beverage manager
  • Work with the food and beverage manager to run concessions throughout the venue
  • Ensure staff are in the proper place at the proper time and work areas are ready for service
  • Ensure all food and beverage staff are in proper uniform
  • Check bar staff areas at the end of shifts to ensure cleaning and stocking checklists are fulfilled
  • Inspect stocking areas to confirm proper storage and cleanliness
  • Maintain ice machines and associated equipment
  • Ensure all food and beverage upgrade experiences are set and ready
  • Monitor staff performance to enforce company policies
  • Increase speed of service, spend per head and staff morale
