The Food and Beverage (F&B) Supervisor role at Municipal Grand Hotel plays a critical part in delivering exceptional dining and hospitality experiences. Reporting to the Front of House Manager, the F&B Supervisor oversees the execution of all customer-facing food and beverage operations and manages front-of-house staff including their hiring, training, and onboarding. This hands-on leadership position requires active participation in both daytime and evening operations and a strategic mindset to exceed guest expectations. The Supervisor builds strong relationships with guests to foster repeat business and represents the hotel professionally across all contexts.
Key responsibilities include monitoring service standards, ensuring quality in drink preparation and food service, and responding swiftly to guest needs and complaints. The F&B Supervisor collaborates closely with culinary, bar, and hotel teams to create memorable experiences that surprise and delight guests throughout the property. Administrative duties like controlling costs, maintaining health and safety standards, optimizing labor hours, and ensuring operational efficiency are also integral to this role. Job Requirements
- experience as a manager host server or maitre d in upscale cocktail bar restaurant or luxury hotel for minimum one year
- bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- proficiency in English language in reading writing and verbal communication
- ability to work flexible schedule including days nights weekends and holidays
- hands on leadership approach
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to handle physical activities such as heavy lifting and working under various conditions
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree or related relevant years of experience
- minimum one year experience in management or supervisory role in upscale cocktail bar restaurant or luxury hotel
- proficiency in English reading writing and verbal communication
- strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- technological literacy is a plus
Job Duties
