The company is currently seeking a skilled and dependable Food & Beverage Supervisor to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time, hands-on supervisory role essential to the smooth operation of the kitchen and food preparation areas at Zion Canyon Hot Springs. The hourly wage ranges between $18 and $20 per hour, reflecting the importance of the position and the organization’s commitment to fair compensation. In this role, the supervisor will manage and lead the back-of-house kitchen team to ensure that all meals are prepared and served to the highest standards. The role involves direct oversight of kitchen operations, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and coordinating meal preparation schedules, especially during busy periods.
The Food & Beverage Supervisor will also play a critical role in staff training and development, fostering a motivated team environment where accountability, communication, and collaboration are prioritized. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment, and a dedication to maintaining strict compliance with health and safety regulations. - Minimum 2 years of kitchen or culinary experience in a supervisory or lead role
- Experience in hospitality resort or wellness settings is a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations

- Detail-oriented and committed to cleanliness and food safety
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Supervise all back-of-house operations during shifts ensuring food is prepared cooked and presented to quality standards
- Assist with food prep and line cooking as needed during peak hours
- Ensure all kitchen areas remain clean organized and compliant with health codes and sanitation standards
- Oversee and support inventory rotation FIFO stock levels and communicate supply needs to the Food & Beverage Manager
- Lead schedule and motivate kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Train new team members on kitchen procedures safety and food handling protocols
- Foster a collaborative team culture and encourage accountability and consistency
- Ensure compliance with all local health and food safety regulations
- Monitor proper use and care of kitchen equipment and tools
- Assist with kitchen inspections and maintain readiness for audits
- Communicate clearly with front-of-house staff to ensure timely food service and address special dietary needs or guest requests
- Uphold service standards that contribute to a positive guest experience
