Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • ability to pass alcohol server license tests
  • state alcohol server license and food handler's card required
  • previous restaurant experience
  • willingness to work evenings and weekends
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • strong time management
  • ability to perform long shifts and physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds
  • ability to comply with health and safety regulations
  • complete background and drug test successfully

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • hospitality or restaurant management certification preferred
  • previous restaurant experience required
  • previous management experience preferred
  • ability to pass alcohol server tests
  • strong customer service skills

  • knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software

  • proficiency in handling basic math and accounting concepts

Job Duties

  • Plan and estimate food and beverage costs
  • coordinate with kitchen staff for provisioning and purchasing supplies
  • supervise portion control and minimize waste
  • order merchandise to replenish stock
  • handle staffing responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling
  • promote team spirit and good morale
  • direct preparation and cooking of food
  • perform quality checks on preparation and service
  • coordinate administrative activities like record keeping and purchasing
  • prepare work schedules and assign duties
  • collaborate with management on marketing and special events
  • ensure employee compliance with security procedures
  • handle customer complaints professionally
  • supervise and audit kitchen inventories and cash reconciliations
  • review financial transactions and monitor budget
  • promote catering sales and establish delivery schedules
  • enforce sanitary practices and maintain cleanliness
  • comply with state laws and health regulations
  • perform other related duties as required
