As a Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor at MVW, you will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day operations within the food and beverage department. This position is integral to delivering outstanding guest experiences by ensuring that associates are well-trained, shifts run smoothly, and service meets high company standards. The role includes supervising staff, monitoring dining areas, managing inventory, and collaborating with other departments to guarantee optimum guest satisfaction. Working various shifts including 1st and 2nd shifts, you will be responsible for leading a team that embraces the core company values of quality, hospitality, and professionalism. The Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor is expected to ensure that storage areas are organized and meet cleanliness standards while following the First In First Out (FIFO) process. By conducting regular inventories and requisitioning supplies, you maintain efficient inventory control for food, liquor, and other essentials. Leading shifts, supervising associates, and monitoring service and safety in dining rooms contribute to an excellent guest experience. Assisting other departments and supporting hourly duties as needed reflects MVW's commitment to teamwork. You will also be responsible for training associates in job roles, responsibilities, service techniques, and company core values. Collaboration with management to recognize employee contributions further enhances the work culture and staff morale.

This supervisory role requires flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays, physical capability to perform job tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and standing for extended periods, and adherence to company safety policies. A valid driver’s license is necessary. Background and drug screening may be required as per company policy. Job Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Lift, carry, push or pull items that weigh up to 25lbs without assistance
  • Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements
  • Valid driver's license

Job Duties

  • Inspects storage areas for organization, use of First In First Out (FIFO), and cleanliness and rectify any deficiencies
  • Completes inventories (e.g., opening inventory) of supplies, food, and liquor, checks stock, and requisitions necessary supplies
  • Leads shifts and supervises associates as scheduled
  • Monitors dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
  • Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests
  • Ensures associates are trained in company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job
  • Collaborates with management to formally recognize hourly associates' performance contributions
  • Assists in hourly duties as needed to ensure proper coverage and guest satisfaction
