The Food and Beverage Supervisor role is based at the Courtyard Lynchburg, VA hotel, where the primary objective is to create memorable dining experiences enhancing guest satisfaction. - Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Permit and Alcohol Server's Permit
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, write, type and use basic technology

Job Duties
- Assist with training, coaching, mentoring and scheduling
- Support employees in the restaurant and room service to ensure guests are receiving attentive and efficient service
- Proactively engage in conversation with guests, seeking feedback about their stay and their dining experience
- Apply problem solving skills to resolve guest issues or complaints to their satisfaction
- Monitor all food and beverage deliveries for portion control, quality and presentation
- Ensure that food handling and safety guidelines are followed, including kitchen logs
- Monitor key control and cash control procedures to ensure standards of operating are met
- Oversee inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items
- Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments
