The Food & Beverage Supervisor role at Truckee Gaming plays a vital part in maintaining the high standards for guest service and operational excellence within the restaurant. Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, the Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the supervision of daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. This position combines leadership with hands-on duties to guide and support front-of-house staff effectively. Key responsibilities include training and guiding team members to uphold service standards, assigning tasks, handling guest inquiries and complaints, and ensuring overall cleanliness and organization within the service areas.
Moreover, the role requires maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the menu, specials, and ongoing promotions to provide accurate information to guests and staff alike. The Food & Beverage Supervisor also collaborates with the Food and Beverage Manager in resolving any employee disputes and assists with product ordering and scheduling. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential for managing schedules and communication efficiently.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Must possess and maintain Nevada Gaming Registration
- Must possess and maintain TAM Card
- Must possess and maintain Southern Nevada Food Handler Card
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in a supervisory role within food and beverage or restaurant operations
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

- Familiarity with restaurant scheduling practices
Job Duties
- Train and guide staff to maintain service standards
- Provide direction and assign tasks to front-line employees
- Maintain knowledge of the full menu, specials, and restaurant promotions
- Ensure guest satisfaction and resolve disputes or complaints promptly
- Communicate work-related issues to management, including employee relations, performance, facility, or safety concerns
- Assist front-of-house staff with seating guests, clearing tables, ringing out guests, setting tables, and taking drink orders
- Ensure quality of ingredients, preparation, presentation, and correct food temperatures
