The role of Food and Beverage Supervisor at Ascent Hospitality is particularly crucial within their operations. The Food and Beverage Supervisor supports the Food and Beverage Manager by leading and guiding the Food and Beverage Team to work in harmony. The key focus of this role is to ensure that all guests and patrons receive optimum service and safety at the highest standards. Responsibilities include assigning and verifying opening and closing duties, ensuring proper setup of supplies, maintaining cleanliness and organization of all equipment and F&B areas, and upholding company and brand standards. The supervisor is also tasked with inspecting restaurant and storage areas for maintenance and cleanliness, fostering a team environment that upholds core values and hospitality excellence.

Job Requirements
- High school education
- minimum three years’ experience in the hospitality food and beverage industry
- current food handler’s card and alcohol service certifications as required by law
- strong leadership skills
- excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- effective listening skills
- ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
- proficiency in basic math
- capability to stand for long periods and perform physical duties
- ability to work with cleaning chemicals
- must carry and balance up to 25 pounds
- able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
Job Qualifications
- Current food handler's card and alcohol service certifications as required by federal/state/local laws
- minimum three years’ experience in the hospitality industry in food and beverage with focus on guest service

Job Duties
- Uphold the company and brand standards, policies and procedures and hold all staff members accountable for same
- organize and prioritize all work assignments and delegate work to the appropriate staff members
- direct service on the floor, embracing, articulating, and reflecting the culture of the hotel and brand and follow-up where necessary
- maintain applicable safety programs for the restaurant, employees, and guests
- ensure employees' appearances appropriately reflect the company image
