Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous food handling or server experience
- must be able to obtain Food Handler's Permit and Alcohol Server's Permit
- strong communication skills
- capability to stand and move throughout the shift
- ability to lift 25 pounds
- flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- assist with training, coaching, mentoring and scheduling
- support employees in the restaurant and room service to ensure guests are receiving attentive and efficient service
- proactively engage in conversation with guests, seeking feedback about their stay and their dining experience
- apply problem solving skills to resolve guest issues or complaints to their satisfaction
- monitor all food and beverage deliveries for portion control, quality and presentation
- ensure that food handling and safety guidelines are followed, including kitchen logs
- monitor key control and cash control procedures to ensure standards of operating are met
- oversee inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items
- support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments
