Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- capability to climb ladders
- ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds
- flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- reliable and punctual attendance
- ability to work in cold environments ranging from 34F to -10F
- ability to work in areas where allergens may be present
- exposure to varying temperatures and humidity
- ability to remain mobile during entire shift
- strong commitment to safety policies and best practices
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong attention to detail
- ability to follow multi-step processes
- ability to stay composed and focused in a fast-paced work environment
- comfortable using technology such as handheld scanners and multiple frequency devices

Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience, maintaining a fresh and full shopping environment
- uphold and maintain Food & Beverage standards
- understand operational procedures impacting shortage and profitability
- execute replenishment, stocking, zoning, culling, cleaning, item removal, signing, and backstock tasks
- manage fast-mover inventory based on seasonality, promotions, and demand
- adhere to all food safety requirements and best practices
- use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products
- collaborate with Direct Store Delivery distributors for product placement and backroom organization
- identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items according to protocols
- greet guests authentically and engage based on verbal and non-verbal cues
- provide knowledgeable assistance about products, tools, and services
- thank guests sincerely and enhance their shopping experience
- comply with all applicable adult beverage laws
- handle environmentally sensitive items properly
- use personal and in-store protective equipment as directed
- demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance at all times
- work safely to identify and correct hazards
- support guest services such as cashier back-up, order pick-up, and Drive-up
- perform other duties as needed based on business demands
