Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical or chemical engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering firm experience
- At least 2 years of experience at the project manager level
- Alternatively, 14 years of relevant engineering firm experience without a degree
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary design teams
- Excellent project management skills
- Willingness to travel
- Strong client management skills
- Self-motivated and highly organized
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical or chemical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
- At least 10 years of relevant engineering firm experience with at least 2 years at the project manager level
- Alternatively, 14 years of relevant engineering firm experience without a degree, including at least 2 years at the project manager level
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Lead a multi-disciplinary design team focused on process, packaging, and automation solutions
- Provide engineering leadership with a solid understanding of process, utility, packaging, and control systems
- Manage all project phases including design, equipment procurement, construction, commissioning, and training
- Deliver projects on budget and on schedule
- Manage client interaction and expectations ensuring a positive experience
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, subconsultants, and equipment vendors
