The resort's food and beverage team plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences across multiple dining venues including Paradox Grille, Entrada Restaurant, Kiva Marketplace, Cantina, and Banquets. The Front of House Server position involves providing attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly service to patrons, ensuring every dining interaction is memorable. Servers are responsible for greeting and seating guests, presenting menus verbally, informing guests of daily specials, taking precise beverage and food orders, and delivering food and drinks efficiently and courteously.

This seasonal role offers $12.14 per hour plus gratuities and includes a range of benefits such as paid holidays, sick time, 401k eligibility, and discounts for friends and family. As a Front of House Server at Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa, you will be part of a professional team dedicated to delivering hospitality excellence. The role demands strong communication skills, a positive attitude, hospitality savvy, and the willingness to learn and grow within the dynamic resort environment. Responsibilities include preparing the service areas by completing opening side duties, managing restaurant stock and supplies, ensuring ample silverware, glassware, and dinnerware, folding napkins, setting up side stations, cleaning equipment, restocking items for subsequent service periods, and completing closing reports. You will report to a supervisor and may be tasked with additional duties as needed to support smooth operations.

Job Duties

  • Complete opening side duties as assigned
  • Check quality and amount of all restaurant stock and supplies using checklist
  • Stock all necessary supplies to restaurant
  • Ensure a sufficient supply of all silverware, glassware and dinner ware for service
  • Fold napkins
  • Setup side station with supplies and equipment
  • Clean all equipment as assigned
  • Restock items for next service
  • Complete all closing reports as assigned and leave duty after reporting to supervisor
  • Perform other duties as reasonably requested
