Levy at Churchill Downs is currently seeking seasonal, part-time food and beverage runners to join their team during the Spring, Summer, and Fall racing meets. The Food & Beverage Runner position at Levy in Churchill Downs is a seasonal role offering $16.60 per hour, ideal for individuals interested in engaging with an energetic and customer-focused environment. The role involves assisting in the delivery and presentation of food and beverages to guests, ensuring proper portion control, temperature maintenance, and adherence to health and safety standards such as HACCP. As a Food & Beverage Runner, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience at events including the Kentucky Oaks, Kentucky Derby, and various racing meets held throughout the year. Your responsibilities will include conveying materials and products to designated areas, maintaining inventory records, supporting production and assembly processes, and adhering to stringent safety protocols. The position requires personal commitment to safety, proper use of protective equipment, and compliance with company policies. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products
  • reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed
  • conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
  • places materials/goods on racks, shelves and bins or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
  • fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line
  • assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves
  • conveys orders to packing station or shipping department
  • marks materials with identifying information
