Job Description

The Tess Autograph Collection located at 415 E Paces Ferry Rd NE, Atlanta, Georgia, is a vibrant and distinguished member of the Autograph Collection by Marriott International. This hotel operates under the ownership and management of Peregrine Hospitality Group, an independent franchisee that oversees all employment policies and practices uniquely distinct from Marriott International, Inc. As part of this dynamic environment, the Food and Beverage Outlets Manager plays a pivotal role in the management and success of the hotel's food and beverage operations.

The Food and Beverage Outlets Manager, reporting directly to the Director of Outlets, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage departments including Tesserae Restaurant, the Lobby Bar, and In-Room Dining services. This full-time management role is essential in ensuring seamless operations, exceptional guest service, and strong financial performance within these outlets. The manager will lead hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching efforts to build a skilled and motivated team. Financial stewardship is key as this role involves managing payroll in line with budget targets and controlling supply costs to drive profitability.

Additional duties include managing beverage operations such as inventory control, maintaining liquor, beer, and wine stock levels, and enforcing policies around storage and requisition. The position also involves coordinating group reservations, special events, banquets, and promotions while ensuring the outlets maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Daily leadership duties include conducting pre-shift meetings and performance reviews to communicate expectations and address operational needs promptly.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of leadership experience in food and beverage management, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and demonstrate a commitment to safety protocols including PPE use and compliance with licensure requirements. Proficiency with POS systems is also required. Physical demands of the role include the ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform various physical movements such as bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, stooping, and kneeling.

This position offers a competitive annual salary of $61,000 plus bonus eligibility based on performance. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 yr. experience in food and beverage leadership
  • ability to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently

Job Duties

  • provide exceptional guest service and maintain brand standards
  • assist in overseeing departmental financial performance by monitoring payroll and controlling supply expenses in alignment with budgetary goals
  • manage beverage operations including monthly inventory, liquor/beer/wine controls, par levels, and enforcement of storage and requisition policies
  • coordinate group reservations, banquets, bar, and restaurant operations, as well as oversee food and beverage events and promotions
  • lead pre-shift meetings and daily reviews with staff and management to communicate expectations, address variations, and share pertinent information
  • recruit, interview, hire, train, and appraise staff in accordance with hotel policy and applicable laws
  • provide ongoing leadership, performance monitoring, coaching, and development to maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction
  • prepare and post staff schedules that align with business needs while maintaining efficiency and labor controls
  • maintain close control and accountability of uniforms, equipment, and operating supplies to ensure organization and efficiency
  • foster teamwork and collaboration across departments while consistently following hotel policies, procedures, and standards of operation
  • maintain knowledge of and comply with departmental policies, service procedures, 4 Keys service standards, brand guidelines, and safety and security procedures
  • perform all additional duties assigned by management
