The role of the Outlet Supervisor at Tempe Mission Palms is a full-time position requiring up to 40 hours a week, including coverage on holidays and weekends to meet the hotel's operational needs. This position is crucial in supporting the daily operations of the food and beverage outlets, leading the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service that meets Hyatt’s high standards. The Outlet Supervisor balances multiple responsibilities, including hands-on floor leadership, coaching and developing team members, managing cash and shift controls, and ensuring speedy service delivery. This role requires a proactive leader who is adept at meeting brand standards, maximizing revenue goals, and maintaining the overall guest experience.

As an Outlet Supervisor, one will be responsible for overseeing service quality and team performance while ensuring compliance with Hyatt’s operational policies and health and safety standards. The role demands strong communication and guest recovery skills to handle any issues that may arise swiftly and effectively, ensuring every guest leaves with a positive impression. Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems such as Micros, Simphony, or Toast is essential, as is the ability to manage shift-related cash controls accurately. This position also requires certifications like a valid Food Handler’s Card and Responsible Alcohol Service certification to comply with safety regulations.

Job Requirements

  • ability to work up to 40 hours per week
  • must be able to work 5 days a week including holidays and weekends

  • ability to work AM and PM shifts depending on business needs

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of hospitality experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or hotel outlet preferred
  • 6+ months in a lead, supervisor, or key-holder role preferred
  • working knowledge of POS systems such as Micros, Simphony, or Toast
  • valid Food Handler’s Card
  • responsible Alcohol Service certification
  • strong guest recovery skills
  • excellent communication and team leadership abilities
