The position demands someone who can communicate clearly, provide coaching and feedback, and maintain open, collaborative relationships with team members. Exceptional customer service is at the heart of this role, requiring the manager to proactively handle guest concerns, review guest satisfaction feedback, and ensure the highest levels of guest retention and satisfaction.
Candidates for this role will have a strong background in food and beverage or related hospitality fields, with either a high school diploma or GED plus four years of relevant experience, or a two-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major complemented by two years of experience. The candidate will be expected to take a hands-on approach when necessary, performing hourly job duties and assisting supervisors with team management and staff development. A deep understanding of budgets, payroll, and operational reports is essential to maintain financial control while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
The Ritz-Carlton New Orleans offers a competitive annual salary range of $66,000 to $86,000, with eligibility for bonuses as part of the total compensation package. Joining this team means being part of a world-class luxury hotel brand known for its commitment to excellence, diversity, and inclusion.
