The Food & Beverage Manager will champion coordination efforts of the banquet department, ensuring seamless communications between food production and banquet service teams while controlling operational costs and maintaining budgetary guidelines. Beyond operational oversight, this leader will also embody professionalism and hospitality excellence, fostering exceptional guest relationships and leading departmental meetings to continuously improve event and food service quality. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school education
  • bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related
  • 3-5 years of experience in a full-service high-end hotel or resort with high-volume banquets and events
  • independent restaurant fine dining experience
  • union operation experience preferred
  • ability to multitask and manage many tasks

  • Independent restaurant fine dining experience
  • food & beverage manager experience at a large 4 or 5-star hotel or resort
  • bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field
  • experience managing high-volume banquets and events
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • proficiency in cost control and budgeting
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • union operation experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Leads the execution of the highest quality of food, beverage, and service related to all outlets and banquet and event areas
  • provides leadership and coordination of all activities of the assigned banquet department team
  • sets and maintains training standards throughout the department
  • spearheads the coordination of banquet service needs with food production
  • promotes effective communication within and between departments to ensure proper servicing of guests' expectations
  • embodies the highest level of professionalism and hospitality in guest relations in all guest contact
  • interacts with banquet department associates as needed for guest service purposes
  • controls all costs and expenses to ensure budgetary and forecasted guidelines are met
  • manages accurate banquet function records and banquet checks
  • conducts monthly departmental meetings including food & beverage, banquet event orders, special events, quality, and department head meetings
