Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in the food and beverage or related field
  • or 2-year degree from an accredited university in relevant major
  • 2 years experience in food and beverage or related professional area
  • knowledge of food and beverage policies and procedures
  • ability to manage budgets and staff
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work full time
  • willingness to relocate to Charlotte, North Carolina if not local

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in food and beverage or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with 2 years relevant experience
  • strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • comprehensive knowledge of F&B operations and compliance standards
  • excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • ability to establish positive working relationships and motivate teams
  • proficiency with budgeting and payroll management
  • problem-solving and organizational skills
  • familiarity with brand specific service culture
  • ability to perform staff duties during absence
  • flexibility to perform hourly functions when required

Job Duties

  • Supervises daily food and beverage shift operation and monitors compliance with all F&B policies, standards, and procedures
  • assists in ordering of food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms
  • supports and supervises an effective monthly self inspection program
  • operates department equipment as necessary and reports malfunctions
  • supervises staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives
  • encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
  • monitors and maintains employee productivity levels
  • verifies that all team members understand the brand specific philosophy
  • maintains the operating budget and ensures legal obligations are followed
  • fosters open communication and nurtures a property environment emphasizing motivation and teamwork
  • manages day-to-day operations ensuring quality and standards meet customer expectations
  • provides exceptional customer service and proactively addresses guest concerns
  • reviews guest satisfaction results and responds to customer service requests promptly
  • provides guidance and direction to subordinates including setting and monitoring performance standards
  • analyzes information to solve problems and choose the best solutions
  • performs hourly job functions if necessary
  • complies with property specific recovery and effort plans
  • communicates effectively with supervisors and coworkers
  • comprehends budgets, operating statements, and payroll reports
  • performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs
